The Pateros City Council approved Resolution 2026-17 on June 15, 2026, declaring Fire Engine 12 surplus and authorizing transfer of the vehicle to Spokane Valley Fire or Spokane Community College for training purposes. Councilmember Bruce Henne moved adoption of the resolution; Councilmember Frank Herbert seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
