Council adopts Mixed Use Zone changes to require commercial component, increase parking
The Council unanimously approved Ordinance No. 2026-06 to clarify Vernal's Mixed Use Zone: projects must integrate commercial uses (minimum 20% for small projects), residential parking rises to two spaces per unit, and mixed uses must be integrated within a single development.
