Board adopts ordinance to accept FEMA map revision after culvert work
Trustees approved Ordinance 26-10 to amend the village floodplain ordinance and reference a FEMA Letter of Map Revision (LOMAR) following completed culvert replacement work associated with Greenway Court and an unnamed tributary to the Des Plaines River.

Rob explained that culvert replacements associated with the village recycling center were completed and that FEMA had issued a Letter of Map Revision (LOMAR) to reflect the end of the project. The proposed ordinance amends section 4.3.0-1.5(b)(1) of the village floodplain zoning ordinance to replace previous CLOMAR references with the official LOMAR issued by FEMA.
