Comanche County approves GeoSafe GPS tracking contract for Sheriff’s Office at $25 per month
The Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously on June 15 to memorialize a GeoSafe service agreement for GPS tracking and CAD integration for the Sheriff’s Office, effective May 1, 2026–April 30, 2027, at a cost of $25.00 per month.

Commissioner Josh Powers moved on June 15 to approve memorializing a service agreement with GeoSafe on behalf of the Comanche County Sheriff’s Department to provide GPS tracking and CAD integration for law enforcement officers and dispatch personnel. The board approved a term from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027, at a stated rate of $25.00 per month; Vice-Chairman Ryan John seconded and the motion passed with John, Powers and Chairman Johnny Owens voting aye.
