The Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of an Interim Use Permit for property owners Jonathan and Nicole Baumann to place a single 12-by-18-foot accessory structure for personal storage on an 18.78± acre agricultural parcel in Franconia Township. Beth Gervais, the county Land Services Coordinator, said the structure meets AG District setbacks and that the Franconia Town Board recommended approval. The permit includes standard limits: no sanitary facilities in the structure until a principal dwelling exists, prohibition on overnight accommodations, annual certification, and expiration once a principal structure is built.
Jonathan Baumann told the Commission his property has an easement in the southwest corner and that he had submitted a driveway permit application to Franconia Township. The Planning Commission adopted Resolution PC2026-0702 (motion by Chris DuBose; second by Eric Leivian), which includes the condition: "Prior to submitting application for building permit, the permit holder shall be responsible for obtaining a driveway permit from Franconia Township."
