The Centennial Public School District Board convened a special meeting on June 15, 2026, and moved to a closed session to complete the annual, systematic evaluation of Superintendent Holmberg's performance. Chairperson Knisely called the special meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. in the District Office Board Room and later announced that a report on the evaluation "will be provided during the Regular Meeting of the School Board this evening."
Under a motion from Board member Linser, seconded by Hansen, the board adjourned into closed session "pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.05, Subd. 3(a)" for the stated purpose of completing the superintendent evaluation; the minutes record the motion as passing 5-0-0. The closed session was called to order at 5:39 p.m. in the District Office Conference Room. Member Johnson, who was absent at the start of the meeting, arrived during the closed session at 5:50 p.m.
Board member Murphy moved, and Schwinn seconded, a motion to adjourn the closed session; the motion passed 6-0-0 and the board reconvened at 6:24 p.m. Chairperson Knisely said the board will provide a report on the evaluation at its regular meeting later that evening. The special meeting adjourned at 6:27 p.m.
