Representatives from Weaver & Jacobs and Claycomb Architects reported on progress for Bond 2021 projects during the Nov. 20 meeting. The firms said a school-zone sign installation request was initiated for a .07-mile zone and that the band hall and performing-arts center are taking shape with work moving ahead of schedule.
Architects noted seating installation for one area is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 15, and stated that overall completion is "looking to be April." They added that punch-list work is being compiled and that next two to three weeks should show noticeable progress at project sites.
The report provided schedule markers and construction status but did not specify remaining contract dollars or exact completion dates beyond the tentative February and April items noted to trustees.
