Board approves Chromebook purchase to replace aging devices
The Academy ISD board approved purchasing Chromebooks funded through the district Technology budget; older devices will be repurposed as supplemental units, trustees recorded the vote as unanimous.

Trustees approved the purchase of Chromebooks during the Oct. 23 meeting to support classrooms and replace older devices. Jacki Wright explained the plan to support devices, replace older units and repurpose those older units as supplemental devices. The purchase will be funded through the district Technology budget.
