Bartlett ISD superintendent details facilities upgrades, training and community partnerships

Superintendent Theodore Clevenger reported facility and operational updates at the Bartlett I.S.D. board meeting on July 21, 2025. He said the Little League is using the district baseball/softball field each weekday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and that PA systems are now installed on the football, baseball and softball fields.
Clevenger told trustees he and staff have been participating in TIL Framework training and that he attended training in San Marcos and the TARS conference. He thanked Representative Brad Buckley for work on additional school funding and noted he spoke with Dr. Bobby Templeton of Ingram ISD about severe flooding at Camp Mystic. Facilities work reported includes a refinished gym floor, functioning field lights and newly installed fire suppression in the cafeteria, field house and gym; the old middle school building was listed as the next site for fire suppression work.
