District Counsel Tony Pires reported to the Board that, after retrieving documents, his opinion about ownership of Corkscrew Road west of U.S. 41 "has not changed." He and District Engineer Charlie Krebs summarized differences in County and Village positions based on past documents and memoranda, and Mr. Pires said he would forward contact information for Apple Signs to Mrs. Adams.
The minutes also record that Village of Estero engaged Johnson Engineering to inspect streets, walkways and intersections to determine repair needs and ownership responsibilities; Mr. Wilhems confirmed that the study will include the west side of Corkscrew Road. PSGRC President Neil Collins provided an update on Town Hall discussions focusing on the U.S. 41/Corkscrew intersection and the east side of Corkscrew Road.
