Bastrop ISD trustees voted June 16 to submit an application to continue the Optional Flexible School Day Program for 2026–2027 after a public hearing reviewing eligibility, staffing, and outcomes from 2025–2026, when 325 students earned 2,119 credits with 261 graduates.

President Chris M. Dillon called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m., and the board proceeded to a public hearing on the Optional Flexible School Day Program (OFSDP) at 5:59 p.m. Raina Ellis, Director of CCMR, presented program eligibility, staffing, student identification procedures and performance data, reporting that during the 2025–2026 school year 325 students enrolled, earned 2,119 credits and produced 261 graduates.
