Brooks County ISD’s Board of Trustees met in a special training session on June 15, 2026. Board President Jose M. Lopez called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m., Secretary Teresa A. Silvas performed roll call and a quorum was confirmed; Superintendent Dr. Venus Vela attended. The minutes record that no members of the public spoke during the public comment period.
