Board approves cooperative procurement method for chiller replacements at five elementary schools

Trustee David Stasny moved that the board approve use of an interlocal agreement or purchasing cooperative as the project delivery and procurement method for chiller replacements at Bonham, Crockett, Houston, Johnson and Navarro elementary schools, determining that method to provide the best value in accordance with Board Policy CV (Local). The motion passed 5-0 with two trustees absent.
The board authorized the superintendent or her designee to take all actions necessary to procure services pursuant to statute and district policy; staff will proceed with the selected cooperative procurement approach.
