Board approves local certifications and coaching appointment

The Brownsboro I.S.D. Board of Trustees approved local certification for a Pre-K teacher at Chandler Elementary and for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher at Brownsboro Junior High School. The CTE-certified staff member was also approved as a soccer coach at Brownsboro High School.
Trustee Fred Griffin moved to approve the certifications and related coaching appointment; motions and seconds are recorded in the minutes and the vote was 7–0 in favor. The minutes list the approvals but do not name the individual(s) receiving the local certifications in full or provide salary or contract details.
The board also approved a local certification for a Pre-K teacher (Chandler Elementary) earlier in the item list. These personnel approvals were taken as part of the regular consent/action items and recorded as approved without additional public discussion in the minutes.
