Commissioners approved multiple personnel actions on Feb. 19: a full-time nurse for the county jail, four part-time corrections officers effective Feb. 23, a lateral CYS transfer effective Feb. 23, and a CYS hire effective March 9.

The Wayne County Commissioners approved a series of personnel actions during their Feb. 19 meeting. The board voted to hire Frances Montaperto as a full-time nurse at the Wayne County Correctional Facility, effective Feb. 23, 2026, and to hire four part-time corrections officers — Thomas Bryant, Connor Sansky, Lauren Molinaro and Paul Duarte — all effective Feb. 23, 2026. Each hire was made by motion and carried.
