Fabens ISD says no responses to forensic audit RFQ; board may split scope
Director of Finance Silvia Nunez told the committee that the district received no responses to its RFQ for a financial forensic audit and staff will ask the board to consider splitting the audit into components to attract vendors.

Silvia Nunez, Fabens ISD's Director of Finance, informed the Finance/Athletic Committee on June 16 that the district's request for qualifications (RFQ) for a financial forensic audit drew no responses. Nunez said staff intends to ask the Board at the next regular meeting to consider separating the audit into different sections in hopes of generating interest from firms that might bid on part of the work.
