The Georgetown Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a package of consent items at its July 27, 2026 regular meeting, voting 6-0 to accept financial reports, minutes of prior meetings, the GISD Student Code of Conduct and the district's teaching permits. "A motion was made by Laura Kincheloe to approve all the Consent Items as presented, seconded by Rachel Gallardo:" is recorded in the minutes as the formal motion and second.
