Butler County Retirement Board reports $300.5M in assets, 12% annual return
Controller Benjamin Holland told the board the fund’s market value was $300.5 million as of Dec. 31, 2025, with a 12.0% annual rate of return; the plan counted 639 active and 652 retired members. The board received the statistical and expense report during its Feb. 3 meeting.

Controller Benjamin Holland reported the Butler County Retirement Board’s year-end financial and membership figures during the Feb. 3 meeting. "Mr. Holland reported that year to date actual expenses to budget were at 101% through December 31, 2025," he said, and the fund’s market value was $300.5 million as of that date.
