Board adopts TASB 'Update 123', renames Athletic Code to Extracurricular Code, and approves Wellness Policy
The board voted unanimously to incorporate TASB Update 123 into the local policy manual, amend the Athletic Code of Conduct to an Extracurricular Code of Conduct to reflect non-athletic activities, and approve the Wellness Policy as finalized by SHAC.

The Hale Center ISD Board voted on Oct. 14, 2024 to incorporate the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) 'Update 123' into the district's local policy manual. Michael Gonzales moved to adopt the TASB update; the motion was seconded by Troy McGann and approved (5-0).
