The Harleton ISD Board of Trustees voted May 19 to delegate hiring authority for professional staff to the superintendent effective May 20, 2026, through Sept. 4, 2026. The motion was made by Pat Mc Gill and seconded by Kevin Evers; the minutes list five trustees voting for the motion and no votes against, and record that the motion carried.
