The Harleton ISD Board of Trustees approved two personnel hires at the April 14, 2026 meeting. The board approved the hire of Kenneth Buckner as a High School Algebra I teacher on a motion by Harvey Fox, seconded by Kevin Evers; the minutes record Ben Wilson, Jacob Muehlstein, Pat Mc Gill and Brian Fitzgerald as voting for the motion and none voting against.
