Kemp ISD trustees approved a resolution on construction delivery and prevailing wage for a new animal barn and were told foundation costs may be higher than planned; district staff said materials delivery and erection could take up to 16 weeks.

Kemp Independent School District trustees on Oct. 28 approved a resolution selecting the construction delivery method for a new animal barn, adopting a prevailing wage rate and delegating related authority for the project. Secretary Sharron Rankin moved to approve the resolution and Trustee Randal Robertson seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
