At 7:20 a.m. on Sept. 9, 2025, newly presiding Board President Ryan Curry announced the board would hold an executive closed session under Texas Government Code, Chapter 551. "At 7:20 a.m., Mr. Curry announced an executive closed session would be held under the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 551," the minutes state.
