Trustees heard a set of informational reports at the Sept. 16 meeting, including demographic and enrollment projections, End‑of‑Course results, and draft improvement plans.
Brent Alexander of School District Strategies presented the 2Q2024 demographic and enrollment projections. Staff then reported June 2024 EOC results for first‑time testers and retesters in core high‑school subjects; the minutes note Shelle Blaylock and Becki Krsnak shared the EOC data. Finally, staff presented a draft District Improvement Plan for 2024‑25 aligned to the Midlothian ISD Balanced Scorecard; "Plans are developed to address areas of need for findings, aligned professional development and sound fiscal decision making focused on student success," the minutes state. Board members were told final plans will be brought to the board in October for approval.
The presentations were informational; no formal board action was taken on the reports during the Sept. 16 meeting.
