Board materials note the high school recently hired a certified PLTW instructor, allowing the campus to offer PLTW engineering courses and expanding STEM offerings. Mike Smith moved to adopt the course; Frank Richards seconded, and the board approved the motion 5–0.
District staff said the addition is intended to better align the high school’s engineering program with industry and postsecondary expectations.
