Pine Tree ISD board accepts financial report, notes multiple purchases over $50,000

The Pine Tree ISD Board on July 14 accepted the district’s monthly financial report. Business office presenter Salena Jackson summarized tax collection activity, refunds, supplements and deletions to the tax roll, purchases exceeding $50,000, donations and the quarterly investment report.

Jackson called out tax refunds over $500 totaling $21,481.44 and listed multiple vendors with contracts or purchases over $50,000, including Sysco Foods ($725,000), Region VII ($222,525), Jorge’s Lawn Care ($220,800), Velvin Oil Co ($195,000), Hiland Dairy ($150,000), Next Step Innovation ($138,544), Curriculum Associates ($134,930), Microshare ($92,931), Edge Office Products ($72,338), Imagine Learning ($55,981), and Brothers Produce ($50,000). The minutes record the board’s motion to approve the financial report as presented, passed by a 6–0 vote.

The report also noted $2,299 in cash donations and the quarterly investment update; no additional details on project-specific spending were provided in the meeting minutes. The board approved the financial report by motion of Melanie Roudkovski, seconded by Adam Graves.
