Pine Tree ISD approves Health Special Risk student athletic insurance plan
The board accepted the evaluation committee’s recommendation to retain Health Special Risk (underwritten by Mutual of Omaha) for student athletic insurance; Premier Plus premium is $132,500 and the plan rate is guaranteed through 2026–2027.

The Pine Tree ISD Board approved Health Special Risk as the district’s vendor for student athletic insurance, accepting an evaluation committee’s recommendation. The approved Premier Plus coverage has a premium of $132,500 (an increase of $13,977 over the current premium), catastrophic coverage of $1,716, a medical benefit limit of $10,000,000 and a $25,000 deductible. The rate is guaranteed through the 2026–2027 school year.
