Fort Myers City Council approved a $2.5 million increase to the parks and recreation facility relocation budget to cover additional interior work, roofing and landscaping identified after bids; staff said the increase follows bid results and project evaluation.

The Fort Myers City Council on Nov. 3 approved Resolution 2025-134, increasing the budget for the parks and recreation facility relocation project by $2,500,000, bringing the total from about $2.9 million to $5,421,461.56.
