Planning staff presented a text amendment to the Highway 707 Overlay District that would introduce distinct buffer classifications (Type A, B and C), increase planting quantities and raise evergreen requirements across buffer types, and set a minimum streetscape buffer width of 25 feet where the previous allowance allowed reduction to 10% of parcel depth.
