Commissioner Alice Yoder read a formal statement marking 100 years since the founding of Negro History Week (1926) and recognizing Black History Month as an opportunity to honor the contributions of African Americans. "Black history is Lancaster County history," Yoder said, calling on residents to reflect, learn and recommit to building a more inclusive community.
