Board approves multiple policy readings, waives several second readings

The board considered multiple policy items on first and second reading. Members voted to waive second readings and approved policies listed in the agenda — including policies cited as EFG, FFG-1, DO, EIEDF, EKBB, FEG and FNCFB — by recorded motions and unanimous yeas among members present. Separately, the board approved first reading of policy DABB and later approved the second reading of EKBA (Strong Readers Act) and EMBD (Flags).
