County administrator outlines Safe Streets kickoff and ongoing road projects
County Administrator Janelle Dockendorf said a Safe Streets for All kickoff will be held Aug. 26 to review crash data for potential grants, reported a bridge pour with a 28-day cure period and said county crews completed chip-seal and began paint striping work (about 90 miles of yellow striping).

County Administrator Janelle Dockendorf updated the commission on transportation and safety projects, saying the Safe Streets for All initiative will hold a kickoff meeting on Aug. 26 to look at intersections and crash data and explore grant opportunities. She reported that the 11601100 Avenue bridge pour began and that the project will observe a 28-day cure period before additional work (guardrails, approaches) continues.
