Board notes LSA grant window is open; will decide projects next month

Board members discussed the open LSA grant round and what projects the township might pursue. The clerk advised the round is open from Sept. 1 to Nov. 3 and said the township has previously submitted road applications, a mower request and a building addition proposal.
Members agreed to postpone selecting projects until next month so they do not duplicate any awards that may be announced for prior submissions. One member summarized the grant range: "This is a grant available between, I believe, a minimum 100,000 max up to 1000000, if I remember correctly." The board voted to table LSA project selection pending further information.
