Trustees adopt 2025–26 calendar and set interdistrict transfer parameters

Superintendent Susan Penrod told the board the proposed 2025–26 calendar was reviewed by administrators and by unions before being brought forward. After brief discussion, trustees approved the calendar (motion by Michelle Hawken, seconded by Shannon Swedenborg).
On interdistrict transfers, Penrod explained the board must set transfer numbers annually. Principal Jeff Roberts responded to a board question that the district historically processes about eight to fifteen transfers into the district each year and a similar number leave. The board approved the Interdistrict Transfer document (motion by Michelle Hawken, seconded by Kevin LaCoste).
