The Valley View ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on July 14, 2025, to approve a compensation plan recommended by district administration. Interim Superintendent Dr. Monica Luna presented the recommendation and Board President Claudia Coronado moved to adopt the plan, with Trustee Jaime Gaona seconding; the motion carried with five trustees voting yes and two trustees absent.
