Council presses developers over outstanding punch lists, road‑sign placement

Council reviewed two active development punch lists. For White Oak County Estates, traffic signs have been ordered and will be installed within the next one to two weeks; the developer declined temporary stop signs so barricades must remain in place until permanent signs are installed.
Council reiterated concerns about East Crest Development, where staff sent a punch list to developer Ferche in January, April and Sept. 12 without compliance. Outstanding items include moving traffic signs back from the road, proof the ponds have been grated, and replacing a stop sign on 12th Ave. Staff will compile a list of local contractors willing to move signs and seek estimates so the city can act if the developer fails to remedy the items.
Council also discussed water backup issues on 12th Ave caused by debris; staff removed debris and reported no further complaints, and pond grating/overflow controls were noted as mitigation.
