The Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview on Oct. 1 unanimously approved the appointment of Steven Munoz as a firefighter-paramedic, contingent on the completion of required testing. Trustee Higginson moved the appointment and Trustee Pinion seconded; the roll-call vote was 5 in favor, 0 opposed, with Trustee Baste absent.
