Wheaton councilmembers voted unanimously April 6 to adopt Resolution R‑2026‑29, authorizing Agreement No. 606 with Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. for professional engineering services on the Turf, Countryside and Ranch Flood Improvement Project. City staff reported two proposals were received and described the project as "estimated at $2.5MM." The city has secured a $250,000 grant from Congresswoman Ramirez and is awaiting a federal grant expected to cover roughly 75% of the project cost.
