Assistant Superintendent Kathy Pelzel reviewed the district Balanced Scorecard priorities and Multilingual Learning Coordinator Dell Giles reported an increase in TELPAS progress rates. Giles outlined an action plan focused on TELPAS speaking and writing that includes instructional planning support, professional development for teachers and aides, English credit courses for beginning and intermediate students, targeted inclusion support, and small‑group pullout support.
