The Citrus County Value Adjustment Board announced tentative hearing dates for special magistrate hearings beginning Oct. 14 and running on several dates through January; hearings are scheduled at the Citrus County Courthouse, 110 North Apopka Avenue in Inverness, starting at 9 a.m.
The board approved the clerk’s proposed publication of the hearing notice and approved initial certifications of value (Form DR-488P for real and tangible personal property) authorizing the chair to sign. The board also authorized the clerk to pay invoices for services and expenses incurred for the 2026 VAB season.
The clerk reported nine petitions filed so far, with six resolved informally through the property appraiser’s office; counsel said staff will adjust packet language to change “granted by PA / no hearing” to “settled by the parties.”
