Leakey ISD to replace TCL and Hisense TVs after state cybersecurity guidance; replacements staged to avoid compromising security
Superintendent Yeschke told the board that TCL and Hisense televisions on campus are on the Governor's Prohibited Technologies List and must be replaced; because some TVs serve as security-monitor displays, replacements will be staged and estimated cost is about $6,000.

During the district technology report Feb. 23, Superintendent Christopher Yeschke informed trustees that several TCL and Hisense brand televisions used by Leakey ISD are included on the Governor's Prohibited Technologies List issued by the Texas Cybersecurity Division and must be removed.
