Moira Board Notes Clerk and Code Reports, Discusses Harley Road Maintenance

The Town Clerk's and Code Enforcement Officer's reports were received and filed in the Town Clerk's office with no questions. Highway Superintendent Mike Helm told the board his crew will begin work on sand on Monday and that they have been preparing plow trucks for the upcoming season.
Helm asked whether Harley Road falls under Town of Moira maintenance or is on the Franklin/St. Lawrence county line and whether the road is seasonal; Supervisor Niles said he would look into the matter and Dan Mills noted Google Maps lists Harley Road as a seasonal road. The board agreed to follow up and the clerk will send thank-you notes to residents who helped with park beautification.
