Toward the end of the meeting, the council voted to enter closed session to deliberate or negotiate the purchase or sale of public property, investments of public funds, or conduct other specified business requiring confidentiality. The items specifically identified were review of the developer agreement with Sukup Properties LLC (related to the proposed Eugene hotel in TID 7) and the annual performance evaluation of the city administrator.
