The Elkton Town Council accepted Planning Commission recommendations to amend multiple code sections related to the flood hazard district and temporary portable storage. The adopted changes include raising the FH-1 surface elevation from 1 foot to 2 feet and adding a provision allowing fences in the floodplain, along with a new definition and standards for temporary portable storage containers.
