The Campbell City Council voted to approve a wastewater contract on Aug. 18, 2025 that gives John Bowen responsibility to oversee and run the city sewer plant. Mayor Ken Padilla presented the proposed contract; Councilmember Tracey Bowman moved to accept it and Councilmember Amanda Molnar seconded. The motion passed 5–0.
