The Leon County Commissioners Court on April 30 voted to take no action on an agenda item that would have dedicated the county portion of Highway 79 — from west of the city limits through Oakwood to the Freestone/Leon county line — to Cecil and Dorothy Bell. Commissioner T. J. Foley made the motion to take no action and Commissioner Kyle Workman seconded; the motion carried.
