EDC board approves FY 2024–25 budget as presented
Summary
After reviewing requested changes from the prior meeting and discussing interest-income assumptions, the Cameron EDC board voted 7–0 to adopt the FY 2024–2025 budget as presented. No additional changes were requested.
Board members reviewed the budget adjustments they had requested at the July 31 meeting and discussed a change to the interest-income line. Members determined that the budget figure remained viable even if interest rates decline. Mayor Nathan Fuchs moved to approve the FY 2024–2025 budget as presented; Kyle Deal seconded and the motion carried 7–0.
The minutes record no further amendments to revenue or expense assumptions. Board members concluded the budget in its presented form was appropriate for adoption and the board entered the approved FY 2024–2025 budget into the record.
