911 official flags address-assignment errors; county to report back June 9

Kirsten Jolin, with 911/Addressing, told the Leon County Commissioners Court on May 12 that the county has identified errors in addresses assigned in 2008–2009 and is working on corrections. She said staff will continue the corrections and present an update at the June 9, 2025 hearing.
Judge Byron Ryder also addressed technological accessibility, noting new Americans with Disabilities Act requirements that will affect the county website. The court did not take formal action on this agenda item during the meeting but recorded that the addressing issue will be revisited at the June 9 meeting.
