The O'Brien County Board of Supervisors approved wage increases for two jail employees, effective March 26, 2026. Supervisor Friedrichsen moved and Supervisor Jim Thomas seconded a raise for Jailer Taylor Sheeks to $26.00 an hour; the motion carried by all ayes. Later in the meeting, Supervisor Vanden Hull moved and Supervisor Jim Thomas seconded a raise for Jailer Ashlyn Gimer to $29.00 an hour; that motion also carried unanimously.
