The O'Brien County Board of Supervisors on March 3, 2026 approved a Regional Surface Transportation Application for surface work on county road B53 from M12 NE 6 3/4 miles to the O'Brien/Clay County line. Supervisor Rohwer moved the measure; Supervisor Friedrichsen seconded, and the motion "carried by all ayes," according to the official proceedings.
